Voice Box Theatre is coming to a festival near you!
Our theme this year is Escape from Wonderland, with a gypsy caravan carnival vibe. Look out for us as we celebrate our carnival atmosphere with:

Cabaret circus performance including acrobatics, juggling, clown, burlesque and shadow dance.

Pop-up, 'impromptu' performances of all of the above, with the addition of the ever popular dragon puppets (see below).

Walkabout puppetry performance with large scale puppets including two Malaysian style dragons (one of which is a night-time fire dragon)

Dragon Building project: We will be building dragon puppets from recycled materials on-site, teaching both children and adults how to use them and about the benefits of up-cycling and reusing.

Workshops in physical theatre/acrobatics/circus skills for children and adults

Performances of our most recent circus storytelling piece, Selkie Tales, which proved very popular with children and adults at the Canadian Fringe 2014. Selkie Tales is a modern adaptation of the ancient Celtic myth, seamlessly blending the physical and the theatrical, drawing on Scotland's rich tradition of storytelling and songs.
