Teaching is integral to our practice. Since its inception, Voice Box Theatre Company has been committed to education, through skill sharing and leading workshops.
Our first public performance Acromatix, a street show at The Edinburgh Fringe 2009, involved six teenagers from a local school, showcasing skills they had learnt in a summer seminar.
Education and Outreach
Since then we have worked within schools and community initiatives in and around Edinburgh, introducing young people from both ends of the economic spectrum to the performing arts.
We are also committed to social work and believe that performance is an extremely effective way into social education and rehabilitation.
